The WEBO came to life during a two-week residency at ‘Werk aan het Spoel’ in Culemborg. The site is part of the Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie, an important defense work within Dutch history. The use of height differences within the landscape was the starting point of this work, resulting in a performance that allows physical labour, sound, object and landscape to relate to eachother by means of kinetic energy.
